We loved being close to the Southern Oaks Golf Club, which made for a fun day! The kids enjoyed the space in our quadruple room, and having a microwave was convenient for late-night snacks with our small baby.

Walking into the room, a strong moldy smell hits you immediately, which is a serious turn-off. In the first room, I found moldy residue on the refrigerator, along with what seemed like standing water on the floor. The second room was only slightly better with hair scattered across the bathroom floor, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The beds sit unusually low to the ground, causing discomfort during sleep, and the gaps between the floor and door let in unwanted noise and light from the hallway. Additionally, the parking lot has the feel of a late-night hangout, with some unsettling activities noted, which might make solo travelers feel uneasy.

This stay was unsettling to say the least. A roach-infested room, poor service at the front desk, and a terrifying incident with an unknown guest entering my locked room at 4:30 a.m. I couldn't pack my bags fast enough to leave.
